Description: The CU Tree Project and Green Education Group bring you an interesting series of podcasts with photos of Trees on Campus, Trees in Figures, and Bamboos as a symbol of Chinese culture. The first episode (in six parts) is about trees on campus presented by Dr. Peter Jakubowciz in English. The second episode (also in six parts) is presented by Mr. Fang Xiang from Beijing in Mandarin Chinese. The third episode is a brief look at the value and functions of trees in numbers. The third and fourth episode are presented by Ms. Neera Sharma. The fourth episode (in five parts) is about bamboos grown In different parts of Asia and valued by the Chinese as a cultural symbol of China. We would like to thank Mr. Tommy Cho, Director of ISO for the permission to use the "Trees on Campus" article from the Chinese University Bulletin in 2005 (Spring and Summer).
